Lucknow: Amethi, once a stronghold of the Gandhi family, is completely occupied by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). From the Lok Sabha seat to the four out of the five assembly seats, now the MLAs of the saffron party are sitting. Congress is putting all its efforts to get back its lost political ground in Amethi. In such a situation, Congress National General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has tried to change the political atmosphere by camping in Amethi, then Rahul Gandhi is going to enter the election campaign on Friday.

Rahul-Priyanka will rally together and try to light the lamp of hope for the Congress candidates. Let us tell you that four in Amethi district and one in Salon seat of Rae Bareli district, which comes under Amethi Lok Sabha constituency. Polling is going to be held on these five seats in the fifth phase on February 27 i.e. on Sunday. In such a situation, Priyanka Gandhi is engaged in campaigning in Amethi to give an electoral edge, so now Rahul Gandhi will land on the last day of campaigning. Rahul-Priyanka are going to address the election rally in Jagdishpur assembly seat together on Friday.

Congress Lok Sabha MP Rahul Gandhi has not addressed a single public meeting in the UP elections this time, while he has held 30 rallies in Uttarakhand, Punjab, Goa and Manipur. In such a situation, Rahul Gandhi's first rally is going to be held in Amethi, from where he used to be an MP earlier. After losing the 2019 elections, Rahul Gandhi is now going to Amethi for the second time. Earlier in December 2021, he had reached the Congress's pledge rally in Jagdishpur itself.
