Sharman Joshi is one of the Bollywood actors who did not make a big movie as a solo actor but played important roles in many super hit movies and ruled everyone's hearts. Sharman did many different characters in his career but Sharman was loved the most by the audience in comedy. But did you know that the actor's comic timing was very bad at the beginning of his career?

Sharman Joshi started his performance with Gujarati theatre. Sharman's father Arvind Joshi was a well-known artist of Gujarati theatre and movies. Sharman's first movie was 'Godmother'. In an interview, Sharman had said that initially, his comic timing was extremely useless. Sharman had said in the interview, 'People have condemned me a lot but our director Shafi Inamdar has given me a lot of encouragement. After about 50 shows of play, my performance improved. Though Sharman has worked in many movies, his hit list includes many films like Golmaal, Style, 3 Idiots, Rang De Basanti, and Excuse Me'.

Perhaps few people know that Sharman Joshi, who has acted in movies like Rang De Basanti and 3 Idiots, had to give 40 auditions for the movie 'Ferrari Ki Sawaari'. Not only that, the producer of 'Ferrari Ride' was Vidhu Vinod Chopra, with whom Sharman did 'Three Idiots', but still Sharman had to roll several papads for 'Ferrari Ride'. Sharman had given 40 auditions to get the lead role in the movie.

Let us tell you that 13 years after entering the world of acting with the 1999 film 'Godmother', he appeared in the lead role (solo hero) in the 2012 movie 'Ferrari Ki Sawaari'. Why did it take them so long? So, replying to this question to the media, Sharman had said, 'Look, I am a long racehorse.  I'm not in a hurry. I can assure you completely that whatever movie I do will be a great movie. Your time and your money will be worth it. When you just want to do a good job, it takes your time and I am ready to give my time'.

Completing his words, Sharman had said, 'I would be very proud of myself if I did at least 10 good movies in my life. Well, 10 is at least, I want to do many good movies. I believe I am going to be in the industry for the next 30 years and believe me I will try to do some of the best movies and entertaining movies'.
