New Delhi: The forthcoming assembly elections in the national capital, Delhi, will be contested in 2020, led by Manoj Tiwari, MP from North East Delhi and President of State BJP Unit. This announcement has been made by Union Urban Development Minister Hardeep Singh Puri. During the Urban Center Head Conference, Hardeep Puri said that the BJP will contest the Delhi Assembly elections under the leadership of state president Manoj Tiwari and he will be made CM if he gets a majority.

At the time when Hardeep Singh Puri was making this announcement, Manoj Tiwari and National General Secretary Anil Jain were also present on the stage. Apart from these, other party leaders were also present. Let us know that on behalf of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) North East Delhi Lok Sabha, a conference of presidents of urban centers was organized in the Siddha Shree Shyam Giri temple premises located at Shastri Park today.

On this occasion, he said that I am sad that despite many efforts and meetings from 2015 to 17, the Arvind Kejriwal government of Delhi could not even pass the unauthorized colonies, even ready to map them. He said that the future of more than 40 lakh people who had gone through unauthorized colonies and grievous settlements in Delhi was hanging in the balance. We will complete this process in three months, now every colony will have a permanent registry and every house owner will have ownership.
