Varanasi: The mother of a vicious crook Jhunna Pandit and her elder brother has been arrested by the Cantt Police. A bike and mobile have also been recovered from the arrested vicious. On Sunday, Assistant Superintendent of Police / CO Kent Mushtaq Ahmed said that a reward of Rs 20 thousand was placed on the head of Usha Devi, mother of vicious Jhunna Pandit and 25 thousand rupees on brother Jai Prakash Mishra alias Monu.
Both are accused of being involved in the conspiracy to kidnap former Sathwaan chief Rajesh Patel and the murder of Divyang paan seller Dilip Patel. The CO reported that the Cantt Police was continuously trying to arrest both. On information, both of them were arrested from Himanshu Hospital in Pandeypur at 11 pm today.
During interrogation, both told that they keep the amount of looting. He also takes care of Jhunna and her companions. Inspector-in-charge Cant Ashwani Chaturvedi, outpost in-charge Nadesar Ashok Kumar, Lalpur in-charge Rahul Ranjan, Crime Branch team were involved in the arrest. Police are currently interrogating all the arrested people and are trying to extract secrets from them.
