Taliban's threatening letter to Swami Rajrajeshwarashram Maharaj, stir in police dept

Dehradun: Recently, the police has become active after receiving a threatening letter from Ismaili Talibani to Jagadguru Shankaracharya Swami Rajarajeshwarashram Maharaj. The police have started investigating the incident by registering a case on the complaint of the manager of the ashram.

According to the same Kankhal police station in-charge Mukesh Chauhan, Narayan Shastri, manager of Sharda Peethadheeshwar Jagadguru Shankaracharya Swami Rajarajeshwarashram Maharaj's ashram in Shri Jagadguru Ashram located in Kankhal, has given a complaint to the police. In which he has said that on January 13, Jagadguru Shankaracharya Swami Rajarajeshwarashram Maharaj received a threatening letter from the Islamic Taliban through the post. After which Maharaj informed the police about the matter.

On receiving the same news, Kankhal police station in-charge Mukesh Chauhan reached the ashram and met Maharaj and took the news about the letter. At the same time, after receiving the threatening letter to Maharaj, the intelligence department has also become active. Along with this, SSP Dr Yogendra Singh Rawat has also taken cognizance of this matter and directed to investigate. SSP Dr Yogendra Singh Rawat said that after registering a case, an investigation has been started.
