LOS ANGELES: A truck carrying Harry Styles' tour merchandise was reportedly hijacked by a group of armed men in Brazil.

According to aceshowbiz.com, the incident took place a few days before the singer of "As It Was" performed at Pedreira Paulo Leminski.

The van was driving south on the highway toward the southern city of Curitiba, where the artist is scheduled to play on Friday, December 10, according to Brazilian source G1.

The car was stopped on the BR-116, commonly known as Brazil's "Highway to Hell," by three guys, two of whom are claimed to have been armed. The attackers have not yet been identified.

Because of its sad history of child exploitation along its length of more than 1,500 kilometres, Brazil's "Highway to Hell" has earned the moniker. In addition to being notorious for endangering motorists, the roadway has seen a record-breaking amount of fatal collisions along its path.

Local media initially said that the truck had Harry's musical instruments and that they had been taken, but it was later made clear that the truck really contained tour-related material, such as T-shirts, posters, and other commercial items.
The attackers "subdued" the truck driver, according to the local police, who noted that, although no information regarding any possible injuries has been revealed.
