A big plan has been made to provide relief to the public in Haryana. Here, schemes for distributing cheaper food grains to the people through ration depots will get an additional amount of Rs 1509 crore in this financial year. With this, the projects of the irrigation department which were hanging due to land acquisition compensation, their financial constraints will also be removed from the extra budget. There are 12 more departments, whose revenue and capital outlay has been increased by 1629.52 crores.

For your information, please tell that with this increase, the total actual budget estimate of all the departments of the government has increased to 141550.60 crore in the financial year 2019-20, which was 132165.99 crore earlier. In its first supplementary budget estimate, the government had made an additional provision of 7755.09 crore for various departments. Now 1629.52 crore has been increased for 12 departments in the second supplementary estimate.

Yesterday i.e. on Wednesday, the government put its second supplementary budget estimate on the floor of the Assembly. The Chief Minister proposed to pass it in the House. On this, the speaker sought the verbal approval of all the members in the House. The legislators passed this second supplementary budget estimate unopposed. However, in this supplementary estimate, the government has taken special care of the ration of poor people.
