Chandigarh: Amidst the rising incidents of cow slaughter in Riyana, CM Manohar Lal Khattar has given a big statement. He said that Gokshi will not be allowed in any condition in Noah district. Cases of cow slaughter will be conducted in fast track courts so that the accused can be punished at the earliest.

CM Manohar Lal Khattar said this while addressing a press conference at Noah Small Secretariat Auditorium on Tuesday. During this period, CM Khattar interacted extensively with people of both communities for several hours and after meeting with the officials said that due to cow slaughter, the distance increases in both the societies. Speaking to the media, CM Khattar said that more than 2500 cow skins have recently been found in a village in Noah district. Despite strict laws in Haryana, some people are involved in cow slaughter. He said that if the law had to be made more stringent, it would be made but Gokshi will be stopped completely.

Haryana CM also appeared serious on religious conversion matters. He said that to stop incidents like conversion, religion will bring an independent bill so that strong and strict action can be taken in the event of conversion. During the press conference, CM Manohar Lal said that a board will be formed to settle the dispute over the land of the crematorium. Where people of Hindu society are in minority status, action will be taken accordingly.
