Hisar: Farmers' anger against BJP is growing rapidly ahead of assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh. In fact, what happened to BJP candidate Govind Kanda in the by-election to the Allahabad assembly seat in Haryana is shocking. In fact, last Saturday, he faced a lot of opposition from the farmers. When Govind Kanda reached the Gurudwara Singh Sabha last Saturday evening to bow his head, the farmers forcibly kicked him out of the gurudwara. Meanwhile, the farmers have also clashed with them. BJP leader Jasvir Singh Chahal, who was accompanied by Govind Kanda, was reportedly hitten badly and the bumps saved Chahal from falling to the ground with his mouth.

Seeing the farmers' protest here, Govind Kanda's personal security personnel evacuated him and took him away. Let me tell you that the Allahabad seat in Haryana is scheduled to go to the polls on 30th October. Counting of votes will be held on 2nd November. The BJP-JJP alliance has fielded Govind Kanda who recently joined the BJP. Gobind Kanda is the brother of Haryana Lokhit Party chief and MLA Gopal Kanda. Just a few days ago, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar withdrew his "controversial" statement of lifting sticks and rods and fighting "furious farmers," saying, "His government aims to maintain law and order.''

Earlier, addressing the state unit of BJP's Kisan Morcha, Khattar had said, "1000 people should form volunteer groups at various places in the state with sticks and "treat" farmers protesting against the three agricultural laws passed by the Central government.'' At the same time, he had also said, "Pick up sticks and respond to those furious farmers. We will see everything."
