The Haryana Government has taken a special step towards providing quality training to the school. CM Manohar Lal has approved the establishment of 108 new English Medium, Government Model Culture Senior Secondary School and 1000 Government Model Culture Primary Schools (Bag Free School). The admission process in these schools will start from September 2020.

Admission will be received according to first come, first served. The Chief Minister gave this approval while chairing the review meeting of the Government Model Culture School Progress. Education Minister Kanwar Pal and Women and Child Welfare Minister Kamlesh Dhanda were also present in the meeting. He said that the present state government is laying special emphasis on 5-S education, health, security, self-reliance and self-respect. He announced the opening of new Government Model Culture Senior Secondary School and 1000 Government Model Culture Primary School (Bag Free School). So that students can be provided with quality education similar to private schools. At present, 23 Government Model Culture Senior Secondary schools and 418 bags free schools are running.

It was also decided in the meeting that till the construction of buildings, the new Government Model Culture Senior Secondary School will run in the existing government school. There will be a separate cadre of teachers for these schools and they will be selected on the basis of screening from the teaching staff of the existing government schools. Separate transfer policy of teachers of these schools will be prepared. Students will be charged a nominal fee. For the first 5th standard students, a one-time entry fee of Rs 500 will be charged, for classes from 6th to 12th it will be Rs 1000. Students from 1st to 3rd will be charged a monthly fee of Rs 200, Rs 250 for classes 4 and 5, Rs 300 for classes 6 to 8, Rs 400 for classes 9th and 10th, and Rs 500 for 11th-12th. Adequate transport facility will be provided to the students in these schools.
