Chandigarh: There is good news for the youth who are dreaming of serving the country by becoming an 'Agniveer' in the Indian Army, Navy and Air Force. The Manohar Lal Khattar government in Haryana has made a big announcement to qualify for Agniveer. The state government will arrange free coaching for those youths who want to serve as 'Agniveer' under the Centre's new defence recruitment scheme. Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar has informed this. This will give the benefit of free coaching to the youth of poor families to become Agniveers.

CM Khattar has said that the students will have to opt for it at the time of admission to class 11. He tweeted, "Our government has decided to provide free coaching to the youth of poor families who are dreaming of becoming Agniveer under #AgnipathScheme. Under this scheme, the student will be asked in this regard at the time of admission of the 11th standard.'' At present, Agniveer free coaching program will be started in 200 schools in Haryana. Where a batch of 50-50 students will be made and they will be provided coaching.
According to the report, priority will be given to the District Sainik Board and interested ex-servicemen to impart physical fitness training to the youth. At the same time, the services of school teachers will be taken for the academic course. Initially, the training program will run on weekends i.e. the last day of the week, while later it will be held for a month during the summer holidays. CM Hardcore tweeted, "For physical training, the persons working in the training institutes and recruitment offices and the Zila Sainik Board and ex-servicemen will get preference and the preparation of the academic part will be done by the school teachers.''
