Transport service started in 10 districts in the Indian state of Haryana from today. Buses left according to the timetable for 29 different routes. The Transport Minister said that if bus operation on any route is not possible due to any reason, then the bus operation will be canceled with information two hours before the time of departure. In such a situation, the fare will be given back to the passenger.

Transport Minister Mool Chand Sharma said that the buses have been sanitized before running. Paintings have been done for social distancing at bus stands. The depot general manager will have the responsibility to follow the social distancing.

In his statement, the Transport Minister said that booking on all routes will be done only through the online portal http://hartrans.gov.in. In the districts where buses will be run, entry is not prohibited at the bus station without advance booking. The bus will run from the designated bus station and stop at the bus station in another district. No passengers will be allowed to board or disembark from the station on the way. Buses passing through corona virus-affected districts will pass by bypass or flyover.
