Prime Narendra Modi recently arrived in Bengaluru for a 5-day Airshow 2023. Modi inaugurates the Aero India program. Prime Minister hosted a dinner for a list of guests ministers, celebrities, and sportspersons. The dinner party was attended by Yash, Rishabh Shetty, Vijay Kirgandur, Anil Kumble, Javagal Srinath, Venkatesh Prasad, Manish Pandey, Mayank Agarwal
Now the south superstar Yash in a recent interview opens up about his meeting and said, “I felt very happy. He (PM Modi) listened to us patiently and spoke about his vision for the film industry. He also asked us about our expectations, what are we looking at, what are we expected from the government, what can we do as an industry for the country.” He further hailed PM Modi and said, “ I was impressed with the knowledge about the minute details of the industry and the possibility of what we can do. He called it a soft power. He has a big vision for the industry, he was appreciating our work. It was a wonderful experience. As always our Prime Minister was very inspiring.”
Kantara director Rishabh Shetty also opens up about his meeting with Modi and said, “I consider PM Modi as a great leader & I'm so happy to meet him. He asked about Kannada Film industry, what is going on and what we require etc and he also told what he can do. He praised Kantara movie.”
On the professional front, Yash has various projects in the pipeline. Meanwhile, Rishab recently announced Kantara 2 on the occasion of Kantara’s 100 days completion. Announcing the project, Rishab said, “We are very pleased and thankful to the audience who had shown immense love and support to Kantara and taking the journey ahead, with the blessing of almighty Daiva the film has successfully completed 100 days and I would like to take this opportunity to announce the prequel of Kantara. What you have seen is actually Part 2, Part 1 will come next year."
