New Delhi: After the objectionable post of Delhi Minorities Commission chief Zafarul Islam, there is a demand for his removal from the post of Chairman. In this regard, advocate Alakh Alok Srivastava has also filed a petition in the Delhi High Court. The High Court will hear this petition on 11 May.

According to the information, in this petition it has been said that he gave a statement that is degrading the country, so a complaint of treason was also filed against him, but the Delhi government is not taking action. Let us tell you that on April 28, Zafarul Islam Khan wrote on Twitter and Facebook that Muslims are being persecuted in India. He said that the Muslims of India have not yet complained about lynchings, riots, hatred campaigns to Arab countries and Islamic countries. If they are forced to do so, then there will be a flood in India. Apart from this, he thanked Kuwait for standing with Indian Muslims.

However, on 1 May, Zafarul Islam wrote an apology for his disputed post, saying, "I have not complained against my country to any organization or government of any other country." I do not have any such intention. I am a patriot and I have always stood with my country abroad.
