Bengaluru: The atmosphere of drugs in the country is quite hot. The flames of drugs that started from the film world have now started to roar politically. Former Karnataka CM HD Kumaraswamy has tweeted a clean-up on congress MLA Jamir Ahmad Khan's statement. In a tweet, Kumaraswamy said, "Yes, it is true that he had gone to Colombo once with his MLAs. He went to Colombo in June 2014 by making public statements. It was to discuss the party's strategy," he said.

In a tweet, Kumaraswamy said that he had gone to Colombo because there was no privacy when he went to Goa or any other place. Former CM Kumaraswamy said that he had spoken to the media just before boarding the flight to leave Colombo. On Jamir, he said, "He came with us, I didn't go with him." It may be noted that the Crime Control Bureau (CCB) had arrested Kannada film actor Sanjjana Galrani in the past.

Sanjjana's arrest also raised questions about the presence of Jamir Khan at the same casino in Colombo where the actress was there. Explaining this, Jamir Khan had said that he was accompanied by HD Kumaraswamy in Colombo. Sandalwood Prashant Sanbarsi had said that actor Sanjjana had gone to Colombo with Jamir Khan. HD Kumaraswamy and Jamir Khan went to Colombo to party. Sanbarsi is also a film distributor. Sanjana was arrested in the past in connection with drug trafficking.
