Barabanki: The psycho killer who raped and killed elderly women in Uttar Pradesh's Barabanki and Ayodhya districts has finally been caught. The psycho killer, who has become a cause of fear for women, is finally caught by the police. The killer was caught while he was taking away his fourth victim. The people of Ayodhya caught the culprit and handed him over to the police. During interrogation, the accused confessed to raping and killing three elderly women. In the interrogation, the psycho killer described his action as the effect of amulets. The criminal was married, but his wife was not together with him. According to him, he had started hating women due to the torture of his two stepmothers and hence started making them his victims. Six teams of Barabanki police, two CO, and the Police of Ayodhya district were engaged in the search for him for a long time. Barabanki SP said that the culprit will also be taken into its custody and further action will be taken.
According to the news received, the name of the criminal psycho-killer is Amarendra Rawat. His age is about 20 years. He is a resident of a village in the Asandra police station area of Barabanki. He had moved to Surat six months ago and after coming back from there, he started committing such incidents. The culprit told in the interrogation that his father had three marriages. After the death of his mother, he had to suffer a lot from the two subsequent stepmothers. He was married 5 years ago, but a farewell was never done. For all these reasons, he started hating women and making them his victims. The psycho killer told the police that he had killed three women in Barabanki and also killed a woman in a village in Mawai. He first killed an elderly woman on December 6 in Khusheti village under the Mawai police station area of Ayodhya district. The second murder took place at Ibrahimabad in Ramsanehighat in Barabanki. The body of the old woman was found here on December 17. Subsequently, on December 29, a 55-year-old woman was also beaten up by the same man when she had gone out to defecate in Thatherua village, 3 km from Ramsanehighat Kotwali. The woman's body was found in the field on December 30. In July, the body of a woman was found in the same condition in the same area.
According to SP Dinesh Kumar Singh, in a police interrogation, killer Amarendra Rawat told that he was fed amulets by someone. For this, he also used to go to a Baba's house in the Khushal village of Asandra police station. Killer said that it was the influence of amulets that when he saw an elderly woman alone, the devil rode on him. He said that he tried to drop the amulet 8 times but nothing happened. The SP, however, termed it a superstition and said that Barabanki police will also take the culprit into their custody and take further action.
