Jaipur: The concern of  Ashok Gehlot government of the state has deepened regarding the growing cases of Corona. In a press conference today, Medical Minister Dr. Raghu Sharma appealed to the people to follow the guidelines. The Health Minister said that the situation is getting worse in many states including Maharashtra and 1729 cases have been reported in Rajasthan on Sunday. He said that Rajasthan has an RTPCR test capacity of 70 thousand every day right now. Now we are going to increase it to 1 lakh.

Raghu Sharma further said that CM Gehlot has said not to impose lockdown, but the guideline will be strictly followed. The Health Minister said that the Central Government should lead on SOP. CM Gehlot has also written a letter to PM Modi regarding this. Regarding vaccination, Raghu Sharma said that till now 70 lakh people have been given vaccine doses in Rajasthan. Rajasthan ranks among the top 3 states in the country.

Raghu Sharma further said that in the coming days all 2 crores 9 lakh people above 45 years of age are targeted to be vaccinated. To do this in a short time, 7 lakh vaccines will have to be vaccinated daily. He said that even after vaccination, there may be corona. But life risk will be less. Right now the mask is more effective than the vaccine. Along with this, people should strictly follow the covid Approved Behavior. But right now, people are being negligent.
