New Delhi: 81-year-old Kanta Prasad, who runs Baba Ka Dhaba, took excessive sleeping pills, after which he has been admitted to Safdarjung Hospital in a critical condition where she is undergoing treatment. Preliminary investigation scares the police that Baba has tried to kill himself by consuming a sleeping pill. The matter is currently under investigation. Police sources also said that Kanta Prasad's wife has said that she opened the restaurant in December 2020, which did not run. From there they suffered a lot.
DCP South Atul Thakur says Kanta Prasad's son Karna has told police that Kanta Prasad had taken sleeping pills after drinking alcohol on Thursday night. He was rushed to Safdarjung Hospital where he has been admitted to ICU. According to police, at 11:15 p.m. on Thursday night, Safdarjung hospital reported that a man who had taken a sleeping pill had been brought in a critical condition.
When the police reached the spot, the man identified as Kanta Prasad, who operates Baba ka dhaba in Malviya Nagar area, was identified. In initial interrogation, Kanta Prasad's wife said that in December 2020, Baba had rented a large restaurant in Malviya Nagar area, which could not run. His rent was Rs. 100,000 a month, while his monthly earnings were rs. 30,000. Because of this, the restaurant was closed and dhaba was resumed a few days ago.
