Super easy way to cook rice dish at home.

 Step 1: Heat some oil in a pan then add bay leaf and cloves. Once they start to splutter, add cinnamon stick and medium-sized thinly sliced onion.

Step 2: Saute these ingredients and then onion turns translucent, add thinly sliced tomatoes. Cook till the tomatoes become soft and pulpy.

Step 3: Now add thinly sliced potato and stir well. Next, you add the spices- red chilli powder and garam masala. Then add turmeric powder and add some salt to taste.

Step 4: Now give it a good stir and wash rice and add to the pan. Mix well. Add water and cook on medium heat. Once the rice becomes fluffy, turn off the heat.
