Many saints have been born in our country who have raised the prestige of the country all over the world. Swami Vivekananda, the guru of Vedanta and spirituality, was one of the saints who had also made foreigners his own in America with the high ideals of sanatan dharma. His real name was Narendra Nath Dutt. He represented Sanatan Dharma on behalf of India at the World Religions General Assembly held in Chicago, USA in 1893. India's spiritualved Vedanta philosophy came to every country in america and Europe because of swami Vivekananda's eloquence.

Swami Vivekananda is known all over the world as a representative of Sanatan Dharma. In such a situation, many stories about Swami Vivekananda are heard, but today we are going to tell you the views of Swami Vivekananda on idolatry, which you may not know about. Nawab, a Muslim friend of Swami Vivekananda, invited him to his house one day for his respect and hospitality. For some time, there was a discussion between the two of them, when it was too long and Swami Vivekananda started preparing to go, the Muslim Nawab told Swami Vivekananda that God and Allah are the same, so why is idolatry performed in Hinduism?

When the Muslim Nawab said this, he told Swami Vivekananda, 'There is a picture behind your throne, which may belong to your father. Swami Vivekananda asked the nawab to throw out the picture. As soon as Swami Vivekananda said this, the Nawab said that in this picture I see my father's axe and I can never throw it away.' At the same time, Swami Vivekananda ji said to the Nawab that just as you see his axe in his father's picture, so do the people of Hinduism who see the form of God in the idol. Whereas God is actually the same, the same sun, which appears different in every water, different in the navel, different from the mountain and different from the forest, but that is the same. Even the Muslim Nawab could not help bowing to Swami Vivekananda.
