Rainfall occurred in many areas of North India on Tuesday. The Indian Meteorological Department has declared an Orange Alert for the coastal cities of Maharashtra and told that there is a possibility of heavy rain in different areas. The Meteorological Department has said that in the last 2 hours, there may be rain in Kaithal, Kurukshetra, Jind, Meham, Rohtak, etc. While there was some relief to the people in Noida, it has been raining in some areas. Talking about Delhi, it has been cloudy since morning. The possibility of rain from July 15 to July 20 is being expressed.

Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of heavy rain in different areas in the coastal cities of Mumbai, Thane, Palghar and Maharashtra. The department's Mumbai centre has declared an Orange Alert, which is for Ratnagiri, Raigad, Sindhudurg as well as Pune in western Maharashtra. A yellow alert has been declared for Kolhapur, Satara, Aurangabad and Jalna.

A Meteorological Department official said that Yellow and Orange Alerts have been declared for Marathwada and Konkan regions of Maharashtra for Tuesday and Wednesday. Also, heavy rains in Mumbai have led to waterlogging everywhere. More than 89,000 people are affected by floods in West Hills cities. Officials said that Jinjiram, a tributary of the Brahmaputra, is in spate.
