In the first incident, two men returning home from their motorbike during heavy rains that lashed the city late on Wednesday, faced tragic death after a wall collapsed at Peerjadiguda and fatally trapped. These men, identified as Praveen and Mohan, are the residents of Peerjadiguda, were going from Uppal to Medipalli when the accident occurred.

In another incident, a 38-year-old woman was swept away by a stream at Shahpur Tanda in Nagapattinam district on Wednesday evening. Anita, a farm worker from Shahpur Tanda, was returning home after completing her work on her farm land when the incident occurred, police said. Her husband and two children escaped in the incident. Later, the police pulled out the body and handed it over to the family members.
