Bhopal: In Madhya Pradesh, there has been a cloudy sky since Sunday morning, reducing the impact of heat. The Met department has predicted rain at several places in the next 24 hours. The state has been under a mild cloud since Sunday morning, with rain continuing. The monsoon activity has reduced the effect of the heat, but the rainy season is beginning to get humid.

The heat on Sunday is relieved. During the last 24 hours, Mandla recorded 29 millimeters, Nagaon 32.6, Umaria 40.1, Hoshangabad 74.4, Gwalior 26.1 millimeters of rain. The Met Department has predicted moderate to heavy rain in many parts of the state in the coming 24 hours. The state is currently relieved of the heat.

On Sunday, capital Bhopal recorded a minimum temperature of 31.3 degrees Celsius, Indore 22.2, Gwalior 25.1 and Jabalpur with a minimum temperature of 23.8 Celsius. On Saturday, Bhopal recorded a maximum temperature of 21.3 degrees Celsius, Indore 25.6 degrees Celsius, Gwalior 33.5 degrees Celsius and Jabalpur 26.8 degrees. The Met Office says mercury may fall further in the coming few days.
