The mood in the state changed from Thursday-Friday night. There was rapid rain in many places, and hail fell at some places. Hail has fallen in 20 districts with heavy rains. This is likely to cause major damage to the kharif crop. After falling in hailstorm in Sehore, husband and wife going to see the crop in the field died due to lightning.

On Thursday, the Meteorological Department had issued a warning of thunder-shine, rain and hail with a sudden change in the state's weather. At present, rains have fallen in Indore, Bhopal, Guna, Gwalior, Ujjain, Shajapur, Ratlam, Khandwa, Dhar, Raisen, Sehore, Hoshangabad, Betul, Harda, Rajgarh, Dewas, Shivpuri, Morena, Bhind and Sheopur. The possibility of damage to the kharif crop is being reported in all these districts. It is raining in many districts right now.

At the same time, hail was falling with rain from the middle of Thursday-Friday. In Ichawar in Sehore district, the husband and wife going to see the crop in the field died due to lightning. It is being told that both had gone out to see the fields in the early hours. People came to know about the incident at around 9 am when other farmers came to see the farm. The husband and wife met in a scorched state at the farm of their farm. The villagers informed the police and the administration about the incident. The farmer has 3 small children.
