Apart from this, according to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, this series of rain will continue even further. It is also being said that Delhi may see a further drop in temperature. Meteorologists have predicted cloudy sky and moderate rain. Apart from this, the department says that the maximum temperature in the capital can be 36 degrees Celsius.
India Meteorological Department (IMD) had issued an alert for moderate to heavy rain in Delhi on Friday and at the same time, it has also warned of waterlogging and traffic disruptions due to rain. Kuldip Srivastava, head of IMD's Regional Forecast Center, had said that "On Friday, the monsoon area may remain under pressure around Delhi-NCR. Not only this, but the water level of the Yamuna in Delhi has also reached 204.30 meters on Friday morning".
