Ranchi: The Jharkhand government has started preparing for the budget for the financial year 2023-24. They are organizing many programs to connect people with this budget. Under this, the Hemant Government has named the budget 'Hamin Kar Budget', which means 'We people's budget' in the local language. A website with the same name has also been launched. Suggestions have been sought on the budget on the website.

According to the news received, more than 830 suggestions have been received so far, which are being screened. Better suggestions will be included in the budget. Obviously, this will make the government aware of the mood and necessity of the common people. At the same time, the government will be able to prepare the budget and the agenda of the people will get a place in the budget.

Professor Harishwar Dayal, an expert on economic affairs in Jharkhand, said that the budget for 2022-23 was named Hamar Budget. At that time, 651 suggestions were received from different sectors, out of which 7 suggestions were incorporated. Those suggestions included the construction of cold storage, priority to construction of solar panels in solar energy policy, digital panchayat, a seed fund for startups, formation of MSME cluster, strengthening of CHC and PHC level government hospitals, and promotion of Palash brand under livelihood promotion. In view of the good response that the Budget has received, this practice has been introduced to connect the common people. Jharkhand was placed in the top ten list in terms of GDP credit ratio, Harishwar said that the economic condition of Jharkhand is very good. Jharkhand was marginally included in the RBI list. This state is a revenue surplus state. He was asked if this is the case, then why people are not getting paid on time in many sectors. On this, he said that it may be a departmental issue but Jharkhand's position is strong financially.
