Dehradun: Hemkund Sahib Yatra, starting on September 4, will run till October 10 this time. In view of COVID-19 infection, only 100 pilgrims will be allowed to go to Hemkund Sahib in a day.

This year the devotees will not be able to avail helicopter service and palanquin service this year. But the devotees coming on the journey from Ghangharia to Hemkund will surely enjoy the beautiful view of nature. These days, Uttarakhand's flower Brahmakamal blooms on the route from Ghangharia to Hemkund Sahib. Tourist will get a chance to see these flowers. The gurudwara manager Sewa Singh said that "On September 3, Panch will leave from Govindghat for Hemkund Sahib. The decision has been taken due to the pandemic".

On the other hand, in the Dehradun district, the death rate of corona infected patients is increasing. Another corona-infected person died on Wednesday night. In this way, 101 people have died so far in Dehradun district. A sample was sent for examination when corona symptoms were found. The examination confirmed corona in the patient. With this, the cases of corona are increasing continuously in the state.
