CHENNAI: Royal Enfield is gearing up to launch six new 650cc bikes in the country in the near future, including the new Scrambler 6500 and the Himalayan 650, and the three bikes we've mentioned here will be the major attractions as each comes with a different- Will cater to different segments. 

This comes shortly after the company unveiled the new Super Meteor 650 in the Indian market. The 648 cc parallel-twin petrol engine that powers all these bikes is most likely the same, offering a powerful and luxurious package to the customers.

RE Shotgun 650, RE Scrambler 650, and RE Himalayan 650 are the expected initial names of the three bikes. As per reports, the upcoming RE ADV 650 will reportedly run on wire-spoke wheels covered in off-road tyres.

Additionally, it will feature an upright stance, a longer handlebar and a higher ground clearance. In addition, a scooped-out rider's seat, a rear luggage rack, and an upswept high-mounted exhaust setup are expected. It will probably weigh more than the RE Interceptor and come with a suspension setup with longer travel.

On the other hand, the Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 concept was first showcased at the 2021 EICMA and is expected to arrive at dealerships soon.

The new Shotgun 650 will likely feature bobber-like styling, strong road presence, and will be available with both single and twin seat options.

The bike will also get retro-inspired styling accents like round shaped headlight, round rearview mirrors and round taillights. The production-spec version is also expected to get a blacked-out exhaust and alloy wheels.

The third motorcycle was recently spied testing on Indian soil and is likely to be called the Scrambler 650. The test mule of the bike had upside down front suspension, wire-spoke wheels and a 2-in-2-1 exhaust system.

Apart from this, it is likely to include electric start, tipper-based navigation system and more as standard components of the package. More details about this 650 cc bike coming to India will be released by the brand soon.
