New Delhi: TVS Motor Company's Apache RTR 160 4V Special Edition motorcycle has been introduced in India. Its price is Rs. 1.3 lakhs to buy.

Highlights of the variant include new paint options, cosmetic updates and segment-first features. Its 159.7cc, oil-cooled, SOHC engine produces a maximum power of 17.3 horsepower.

Compared to the standard model, the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V Special Edition gets better aesthetics and better mechanicals.
In India, the Apache RTR 160 4V competes in a very crowded market and attracts a lot of buyers. This new version should increase its sales on our soil.

The TVS Apache RTR 160 4V Special Edition comes with a powerful fuel tank, black and red finished single-piece seat and segment-first adjustable brake and clutch levers.

The bike features a "bullpup" exhaust, an LED headlight with LED DRLs and an instrument console with Bluetooth functionality. It rides on alloy wheels that get a red and black paint job. Matte Black Special and Pearl White color options are available.

The TVS Apache RTR 160 4V Special Edition is powered by a 159.7cc, oil-cooled, SOHC engine, which produces 17.3 horsepower and 14.73 Nm of peak torque. Mated to the mill is a 5-speed gearbox.

For better road handling, the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V Special Edition gets disc brakes on both the front and rear wheels in addition to single-channel ABS. There are also three riding modes available: Urban, Sport and Rain. Telescopic forks at the front and a mono-shock unit at the rear handle the suspension functions of the two-wheeler.
