The trailer of the film ended with the word of Mike Tyson when Vijay said I am a fighter Mike replied if you are a fighter what I am. After the release of Liger's trailer, the videos and photos of the movie are all over there and fans are showering their love on him. The actor in a promotion event revealed the difficulty he faced during filming with Mike Tyson.

Vijay was scared when he came to know that he has to film a portion with former American Mike Tyson but his mother was more scared than him. Speaking about her mother's reaction the actor said  “She did lots of pujas and put vibhuti (sacred ash) and kumkum (turmeric powder) on me before I left for the USA. I’m fine now and her pujas did really work (laughs).” “She kept telling him, ‘It’s Mike Tyson. Be careful’. She calls me Chinnu. She called me up millions of times and told me to take care of her Chinnu. Once they started shooting, I sent her videos of how they were chilling together and laughing as if they are childhood friends.”

Speaking about how the actor faced the American fighter he added, “I stammer in the film and it added a whole different layer of humour to it. My character’s visually so strong and can fight but can’t even get an ‘I love you from his mouth. It also made it even more interesting how he does the things that we want to do and be successful in his life. It was very hard for the first two-three days. But once I got the hang of it, I had a lot of fun with it.”

Liger, stars Vijay Deverakonda, Ananya Panday, and the team. The 2-minute trailer was a knock-out for sure and promises to be a blockbuster. Even as we had our eyes on Vijay Deverakonda only, the legend, Mike Tyson, who has a cameo in the film, certainly steals the show in the end.
