Supaul: A grand Holi Milan programme of social harmony was organized at Supaul in Bihar. Where Hindus and Muslims joined in the statistics of thousands and celebrated Holi by throwing flowers at each other. In the thousands of figures, women, men and children sang Holi songs on this special occasion. The enthusiasm among the elderly people about the event was such that the elders came to the venue, singing and swinging on the beats of dhol-Manjeere. It is held every year in Supaul, it is called the Holi of the old people.

The event, which was presided over by Sitaram Mandal, President of The Akshayvat Old Age Federation, was inaugurated with the welcome anthem of Navkant Jha, Tanu Priya, Murari and Tripurari. Dozens of elderly public representatives from the area also participated in the Holi Milan. Jhanjharpur and Supaul district project officers Jyotish Kumar Jha, Rakesh Kshatriya played Holi of flowers with the elderly.

On the occasion, Girish Chandra Mishra, National Director of the Institute, urged the elderly to move forward unitedly. He said that by recreating the sting of his vitality, skill and ability, these elders of Koshy have already made their presence known to the central and state government. The elderly say that they have been doing these programmes every year by collecting money for 10 years.
