Infrastructure Works Disrupt Train Services Between Hyderabad and New Delhi - Significant Impact on Train Operations Due to Construction Projects - Nearly 80 trains have faced cancellations, while 36 others have been rerouted between Hyderabad and New Delhi until July 7, owing to ongoing third-line construction work between the Kazipet and Balharshah sections.

The South Central Railway (SCR) has attributed the disruptions to preparatory and commissioning works for the new third line between Asifabad and Rechni stations in the Secunderabad division, as reported by The Hindu.

Cancelled Trains:

Several services have been affected by cancellations and diversions until July 6-7:

Train No. 17003 Kazipet-Solapur Express
Train No. 17004 Balharshah-Kazipet Express
Train No. 12757 Secunderabad-Sirpur Kagaznagar Express
Train No. 12758 Sirpur Kagaznagar-Secunderabad Express
These cancellations impact daily, weekly, and biweekly train services due to ongoing infrastructure developments between Kazipet and Balharshah.

Additional Cancellations:

Trains linking Secunderabad with destinations like Hazrat Nizamuddin, Patna, Raxual, Danapur, Subdergunj, Hyderabad to Gorakhpur, and Raxual have been cancelled on specific dates during this period due to ongoing infrastructure works on the Kazipet-Balharshah section.

Diversions:

Several trains have been rerouted, including:

12590 Secunderabad-Gorakhpur
12589 Gorakhpur-Secunderabad
12723 Secunderabad-New Delhi
12724 New Delhi-Secunderabad

These trains are diverted through alternative routes via Majri, Pimpal, Khuti, Mudkhed, and Nizamabad due to ongoing construction.

Rescheduled Trains:

12723 Hyderabad-New Delhi (rescheduled by one hour on designated days)
12724 New Delhi-Hyderabad (rescheduled by two hours on designated days)
12791 Secunderabad-Danapur (rescheduled by 75 minutes from July 4 to 6)

The adjustments in train routes and schedules are necessary due to ongoing infrastructure works on the Kazipet-Balharshah section, impacting normal train operations until July 7.
