In the film, Ayushman Khurrana plays a boy who works in an adult call center and speaks to men in the girl's voice.

Ayushman has a different look in the film's trailer and his work is also amazing. The film Dream Girl has been produced by TV queen Ekta Kapoor and when it comes to Ekta Kapoor, she was asked why she chose Ayushman Khurana for the film. Unity responded by saying that they were confident that no one else could do this role better than Ayushman.

According to Ekta Kapoor, "When I heard the script, I was very impressed with it. I only knew an actor who could modulate his voice very well, which could have done this difficult task, Ayushman Khurrana. I was sure Ayushman would bet on this script. They won't see how big the film is, nor will they see the director's previous work. He will read the script and do yes to play this character.' Ayushman's film will be released on September 13.
