Hero Electric marked the expansion of its dealer network in the country with the addition of eight new dealerships in Eastern and Central India. The company inaugurated the new dealer touchpoints in Guwahati, Assam; Una, Gujarat; Kaithal and Rohtak, Haryana; Baranagar, Madhya Pradesh; Shirwal, Maharashtra; and Thenkasi; Tamil Nadu. Besides that, it also intends to inaugurate 15 new dealerships in cities such as Timarani, Madhya Pradesh; Amta, West Bengal; Pratapura, Chhattisgarh; Hazipur, Bihar; etc.

The company noted that all its dealer facilities across the country have a team of well trained professionals and experts and offer modern services so as to ensure that buyers receive high quality after-sales services. And about the planned dealerships, Hero Electric said that they will offer class-leading electric two-wheeler sales and service facility and, of course, the complete range of Hero Electric electric scooters in India.

Sohinder Gill, chief executive office, Hero Electric India, said, "At Hero Electric, we aim to provide eco-friendly mobility solutions to people. We are proud to have the largest dealer network across the country and recently crossed 600 touchpoints. Our eco-friendly products are accessible to many more people across India, enabling every Indian to have a chance to use zero emission, sustainable mobility solutions from Hero Electric. We are planning to open over 1,500 touch points in the next 2 years to penetrate the most interior parts of the country."

Among the largest electric vehicle company in India, Hero Electric's range of e-scooters is organized into two categories: High Speed Series and Low Speed Series. Under the first, it offers a total of four electric scooters, namely, Hero Electric Optima E5, Hero Electric Nyx E5, Hero Electric Photon 72V, and Hero Electric Photon 48V. The second category includes Flash LA, Flash LI, Optima LA, and Optima LI. Interestingly, the company says it has already sold nearly 3 lakh electric two wheelers and currently has 610 sales and service outlets in India.
