Hero Motocorp has introduced the first BS6 motorcycle in the country. Hero Motocorp, the world's largest two-wheeler manufacturer, on Thursday, introduced the country's first BS6 engine bike. The hero has launched its popular Splendor bike with a new engine. Earlier, Honda Two Wheelers announced that it is going to introduce the new bike on November 14.

As per the press release of Hero MotoCorp, the company has introduced the first Splendor iSmart bike with the BS6 engine. Apart from this, Hero is the first company to get BS6 certification from iCat. The new bike Splendor has been introduced with an engine with 110 cc fuel injection technology. This engine gives a power of 9.0 bhp at 7500 rpm and 9.89 Nm of torque at 5500rpm. Along with this, i3S technology has been given in it. Splendor iSmart has a new diamond chassis so that it can be run in any kind of space. It has +15 mm front suspension, 180 mm ground clearance and +36 mm wheelbase. The new bike will be developed at the Center for Innovation and Technology in Jaipur.

Price- Black, Sports Red, and Black, Force Silver, and Heavy Gray colors. On one hand, only two variants of this bike are being launched Self Drum Cast and Self Disc Cast. On the other hand, the company has kept the ex-showroom price of Splendor iSmart at Rs 64,900. The bike will be available in Delhi and NCR recently, but will soon be sold across the country.

At the moment, no information was already given by Hero about the Splendor iSmart offering. But there were reports that Hero is preparing to introduce the bike with the BS6 engine. It was being told that Honda Actors can take their most popular bike CB Shine SP 125 with the new engine after Activa. At present, no more information was given by the company as they believed that its rival Hero MotoCorp could also bring the first BS-6 Hero Splendor BS6 bike.
