Hijab controversy: Congress MLA gave iPhone and smartwatch to Muskan Khan

Bangalore: Muslim organisations have showered rewards and gifts for Muskan Khan, a student who came into the limelight over the ongoing hijab controversy in Karnataka. Muskan Khan is a student of PES College. On February 11, after the slogan of 'Allah Hu Akbar' was raised in the college campus wearing a burqa, she is being given the title of 'brave girl' by several Muslim organisations.  

 

 

Now Congress MLA from Bandra in Maharashtra's capital Mumbai, Zeeshan Siddiqui also visited Muskan's house in Mandya town and met her and termed her work as "adventure". He has also gifted Muskan an iPhone and smartwatch. Zeeshan tweeted, "Met the lioness of Karnataka, who stood firmly against the fascists who tried to stop her right to wear the hijab. After driving 100 km from Bangalore to Mandya I met the brave girl Muskan Khan and her family and appreciated her bravery!'

In his tweet, Congress MLA Zeeshan Khan has also tagged former Congress president Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi, Rajya Sabha members KC Venugopal, Shashi Tharoor, Congress MLAs Balasaheb Thorat, Imran Pratapgarhi and Srinivas B V among others.
