Ranchi: A BJP delegation met Jharkhand Governor Ramesh Bais and submitted a memorandum against CM Hemant Soren. The memorandum alleges that Hemant Soren has misused the chief minister's post and allotted the mine in his name. The BJP delegation included former CM Raghubar Das, state vice-president Gangotri Kujur, general secretary Aditya Sahu, MLA Naveen Jaiswal, MLAs CP Singh and Yogendra Singh. The BJP has accused Chief Minister Soren of getting a stone mining lease in his name.

The party alleged that Soren had applied for a lease before becoming cm, but it is still pending. The district mining officer had allowed the application in July 2021. The delegation also demanded the removal of Hemant Soren from the CM's post, his disqualification as an MLA and an order to initiate an inquiry against him.

Recently, a big gift has been given to the contract employees by the Government of Jharkhand. The Hemant Soren Government has increased the dearness allowance to the contract employees to 19.6 per cent, which was 11.3 per cent earlier. Apart from this, the government also came up with a big gift for PDS shopkeepers. The government has also decided to give a commission of one rupee per garment to PDS shopkeepers under the Sona Sobran Dhoti-Saree-Lungi Scheme. In fact, 63 proposals were sealed in the Jharkhand Cabinet meeting. It also approved the proposal to construct a flyover from Siramtoli to Mecon Chowk in Ranchi at a cost of Rs 337 crore.
