Amritsar: Balwinder Singh Laddi, MLA from Hargobindpur in Punjab, has rejoined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Within 40 days,  he has changed the party for the third time. Laddi had won the assembly election on a Congress ticket. He had stopped the BJP on December 28. After this, on January 3, he again joined the Congress and now he has once again joined the BJP.

Earlier on January 3, he had joined the Congress in the presence of Harish Rawat and CM Charanjit Singh Channi. Earlier, on December 28, in New Delhi, he had defeated the BJP. Laddi is considered to be the confidant of Captain Amarinder Singh. However, he did not join Captain's new party Punjab Lok Congress (PLC) but had joined the BJP. In the assembly elections, Captain Amarinder has entered into an alliance with the BJP.

BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh gave BJP membership to Laddi in Batala. Bjp candidate from Batala Fatehjung Bajwa was also present. Laddi is also considered to belong to the Bajwa faction. Let us know that Laddi was not made a candidate by the Congress from the Hargobindpur assembly seat. This seat falls in Gurdaspur. The Congress has fielded Mandeep Singh from here.
