Aurangabad: There was a strategy to organize a meeting on behalf of the Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi and the Muslim Ittehad Front in Aurangabad, Maharashtra. Along with this, Prakash Ambedkar and hijab girl Muskaan from Udupi, Karnataka were also invited. But the police did not approve the meeting. Muskan was to reach Aurangabad late in the evening, but the police did not allow Muskan to come to Aurangabad. So the organizers had to postpone the meeting. The workers of Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi and the Muslim Ittehad Front have become angry about this.
Farooq Ahmad, the spokesperson of the Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi of Maharashtra, said that the Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi has approached the court after not getting permission from the police. "We had made all the preparations for the event. A video went viral some time ago. In it, some people protesting against the wearing of hijab in schools and colleges in Karnataka were seen surrounding a single girl and shouting 'Jai Shri Ram'. In response, the young woman shouts slogans of Allahu Akbar. The video went viral on social media as soon as it was seen.
Muskan said that she had gone to college for the assignment. In the meantime, a crowd of some people reached there and people started talking about removing the burqa and going to the college. According to Muskan, when she left, people started shouting 'Jai Shri Ram' again. Muskan said that the crowd included people from the college as well as outside. The high court has given a big verdict on the hijab dispute that started from Karnataka. The High Court has held that the hijab is not an essential part of Islam. Therefore, it is not necessary to wear a hijab. With this, the Karnataka High Court has dismissed a petition seeking to wear hijab in class.
