Shimla: A case of gang-rape has come to light with a woman living in a village, under the police station Gagal in Kangra city of the country's state of Himachal Pradesh. The woman has given a Complaint against seven people of the area in the police station Gagal. According to the woman, she had sought a lift from the youths. After which they took the woman to a hotel in Salol and McLeodganj. Where she was gang-raped. Police has filed a case and detained seven criminals.
According to the information received, on Wednesday, the woman sought a lift from a car in Banoi. The criminals then forcibly took her with them to a poultry farm in Salol, where she was gang-raped. Subsequently, they also took her to McLeodganj where she was gang-raped again. Taking action on the woman's complaint, on Thursday morning, the team of the Gagal police, under the charge of Police Officer Incharge Meher Deen, arrested seven gang-rape criminals.
Among the criminals, two people are said to be living in Tiyara, a Bhariyada, a Bundi, a Vaidi, a Meharna and a daadi. While confirming the case, DSP Kangra Sunil Rana said that the police have detained seven people in the area on the complaint of the woman. The culprits will be presented in court on Friday. The woman is being administered in Kangra Hospital. The entire case is being investigated by the police.
