In a tweet, CM Jairam Thakur said that he was home quarantined after he came in contact with the corona infected person in the past. On seeing the symptoms of COVID19 for two days, he conducted a test on Monday in which he was found positive. Jairam Thakur came in contact with the corona positive person during the inauguration of Atal tunnel Rohtang on October 2 and 3, since then he was in isolation. 10 days later, Jairam Thakur has been found corona positive.

A BJP leader corona was found infected on October 2 during the inaugural function of Atal tunnel Rohtang. PM Modi was also involved in the event.
