Islamabad: A 15-year-old minor Hindu girl from Pakistan said in the local court that I do not want to accept Islam. He has told that the Muslim person with whom Ali Raza Mirchi is married has not lived with him. She pleaded that she be brought to his parents. Mehak's lawyer Narayandas Kapoor told the Times of India over phone that the judge heard the case inside a closed room in view of the presence of a large number of clerics outside and inside the court.

Earlier on 21 January, Mehak had admitted in court that he had accepted Islam on his own free will and married Ali Raza on his own free will. However, she has now reversed her statement and told the court that she had given this statement by mistake. Let us tell you that Mehak was kidnapped on January 15 from Jacobabad in Sindh province of Pakistan. It is alleged that he was forcibly made to Nikah Ali Raza.

Hindus protested in Sindh over this matter. Several liberal Muslim organizations also participated in this demonstration. The lawyer has stated that on 21 January, Mehak gave an incorrect statement before the court out of fear of heavy pressure and threats. On the order of the court, the age of Mehak was found out, she turned out to be only 15 years 8 months.
