Ranchi: Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren appeared aggressive when he met party workers from every corner of the state on Friday. In fact, JMM workers were performing Mahajutan in Ranchi for 2 days in traditional costumes with music in favor of Chief Minister Soren. After being questioned by the ED for nearly nine hours on Thursday in connection with the Rs 1,000 crore mining scam in the Sahibganj district of the state, Soren appeared before the workers on Friday and thanked them for their support. He also held a meeting with UPA MLAs.

After that, Hemant Soren lashed out at the ED. He said that if the action of ED is unilateral, then we have the power to oppose it. We are ready to extend all help to the investigating agency. In the case in which we are being questioned, there should also be an investigation before his CM tenure. There is no refrain if the agency brings out true facts. He questioned why raids and actions by agencies were taking place only in non-BJP-ruled states. Soren said that the BJP is trying to put its sins on the present government, but we will foil their conspiracies.  

The Chief Minister said that he had gone to the investigating agency on Thursday. I was questioned for 9 hours. He asked whether this scam could happen in two years. ED said- The agency did not say 2 years. On this Hemant told him that if you work honestly, you will get full cooperation from the government. If they act unilaterally, they have the power to oppose. If Soren is to be believed, he is not averse to the investigating agency, but he should answer to the ED as to why they took action leaving the BJP-ruled state. The Chief Minister said that the opposition is working to provoke the indigenous tribals. But their conspiracy has been recognized by three and a half crore people. As the popularity of the government is increasing, the BJP people are having stomach aches. The government is taking development works at the panchayat level. It is solving the problems of the villagers. Struggling has been a history of centuries for JMM. Dishom Guru Shibu Soren was also harassed by these people, but what happened? So far, Shibu Soren has not been tainted. Meanwhile, the statement of UPA leaders is clearly showing that work on Plan B is also going on in Jharkhand. In fact, Cabinet Minister Mithilesh Thakur said that if such a situation ever arises, Then Kalpana Soren is the natural and first option. Congress MLA Irfan Ansari said that if such a need arises, he will also sacrifice his MLA post and vacate the seat for the alternative of Hemant Soren.
