New Delhi: Ahead of the Delhi Municipal Corporation elections (MCD Election), the BJP on Friday made serious allegations against Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Mukesh Goyal. Actually, BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra has released a sting video accusing Mukesh Goyal of taking a bribe from a Junior Engineer (JE). Patra said that AAP leader Mukesh was caught red-handed while taking one crore. Along with this, Patra termed Mukesh Goyal as an extortionist and demanded his removal from AAP.

BJP spokesperson has told that Mukesh Goyal is considered a cunning leader of MCD. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal also does not take any decision without consulting Mukesh in any matter related to MCD. Recently, AAP has decided the names of its candidates only after his consent. Patra said that Mukesh Goyal, the hardcore corrupt leader of an extremely corrupt party, is in charge of Madhya Pradesh AAP. Patra claimed that the entire Aam Aadmi Party was involved in corruption. This party is a party that cheats even the thugs. BJP spokesperson said that a corrupt owl is sitting on every tree of Kejriwal government, so you can understand what will be the result.

Sambit Patra said before showing the sting, 'You will hear from the mouth of that leader (Mukesh) himself how he is asking for money from the officer. He is saying that it is Diwali. We have to give gifts to important people. From where will I give such a big gift?' Patra told that 'Those leaders tell the officer that doesn't bring 20-25 or 50 lakhs, bring the minimum price (1 cr i.e. one crore) and if you don't pay the minimum price, you will be transferred.'

Mukesh Goyal is contesting the MCD elections this time from Ward No. 15, Adarsh Nagar. Mukesh has been a councilor for the last 25 years. Earlier, Mukesh Goyal was the leader of the Congress in North Delhi Municipal Corporation. But, in November 2021 he joined AAP. He has also served as the Chairman of the Standing Committee of NDMC.
