After sacrificing, people also distribute its meat to relatives and friends. In this way the festival of Bakra Eid is celebrated.

Why do goats celebrate Eid?

After the question of how goat Eid is celebrated, it is very important to know why Bakra Eid is celebrated. It is said that Bakr Eid is celebrated in remembrance of the sacrifice made by the Prophet of Muslims and the ancestor of Hazrat Mohammad, Hazrat Ibrahim. It is believed that when Hazrat Ibrahim was doing devotion to Allah, Allah was pleased with his devotion and accepted his prayer.

After this, Allah had tested Hazrat. Where in the examination Allah had asked Hazrat to sacrifice his most beloved thing. Then Hazrat wanted to sacrifice his son. Because Hazrat loved his son more. Hazrat was sacrificing his son, only then a goat was placed by Allah in his son's place and Hazrat passed this test. From then on Muslims started celebrating it as Bakra Eid.
