Baghdad: Sharia law is in effect in Iran. This is the reason that people there have to face many kinds of restrictions. Women are required to live in Hijab. Those who do not believe or violate this law are punished severely. But Iran was not like this in the 70s. There was so much modernity as is seen in today's western countries. That is, Iran was more modern than Western countries.

Western civilization was heavily dominated by Iran before the Islamic Revolution. People also enjoyed it. There was openness. There was independence. There was no restriction on dress and food. He was very much aware of art, music, film and literature. There was no restriction on the way of living. But recently 8 celebrities in Iran were sent to jail for sharing modeling photos on social media.

These eight celebrities were accused of promoting anti-Islam culture. This is against Sharia law, so they have been put in jail. Let me tell you that till 1935, it was also known as Persia. At that time there were people of Persian, Azerbaijan, Kurdish (Kurdistan) and Lur caste, but after the Islamic revolution, Islam spread rapidly here and in 1979 Iran was declared an Islamic republic.
