The balanagar flyover work starts very slowly, but now it is taking a speed with the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA). Now it has set the goal of completing the work by November. After opening up to traffic, this construction will ease traffic smoothly beyond the Balanagar main road, Narsapur and Fatehnagar 'T' junctions. This reduces traffic congestion in Kukatpalli and Kutubullapur areas.

Earlier, greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) completed land and property acquisition and demolished 356 structures, hmda is accelerating civil work on a war footing. 176 girders should be set up as part of this project. Out of these, 93 have already been installed and approximately 60 girders are ready to install. Similarly, out of 25 spans, six spans have been set up, a senior HMDA official said.

However, to avoid traffic inconvenience, all sub-structures like girders, peer segments and others are being precasted at the casting yard in Khilaipalli, near Ramoji Film City. Once the sub-structures at the yard are completed, they will be installed on the site. During this period, Hmda has done a lot of lockdown and hastened the work. The work that took about three months was completed in a month.
