Bhopal: Union Home Minister Amit Shah addressed a public meeting in Madhya Pradesh ahead of the state assembly elections. During his speech, he strongly criticized the Congress party, accusing it of following a "4-C formula" consisting of corruption, commission, communal riots, and criminal politics. He urged the voters to support the BJP, emphasizing the accomplishments of the "double engine government" that transformed Madhya Pradesh from a BIMARU state (a term used to denote underdeveloped states) into a prosperous one.

Amit Shah also targeted Kamal Nath, suggesting that the Congress, if in power, would prioritize self-interest over public welfare by discontinuing schemes like Ladli Behna and Kisan Samman Nidhi. He highlighted the BJP's commitment to development and good governance. Shah further challenged Kamal Nath to compare the state's budget during his tenure in 2002 with the current budget, implying significant progress under the BJP government. He lauded Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar's legacy and criticized the Congress for historically neglecting him, pointing out that the Narendra Modi government has consistently increased the budget for Dalits and tribals.

Amit Shah expressed concern about the potential return of Kamal Nath, who, during his previous term, was accused of promoting corruption and obstructing the Shivraj Singh Chouhan government's welfare programs for the poor. Shah warned that schemes like Ladli Brahmin Yojana and financial support for farmers could be discontinued if Kamal Nath assumes power. The Home Minister urged the electorate to support the BJP and maintain the development momentum achieved in Madhya Pradesh.
