'Terrorists to attack people involved in Tiranga Yatra..,' alert for 'target killing' of Hindus in Kashmir

Srinagar: Islamist militants, who were enraged by the hoisting of the tricolour at various places in the Valley during the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, are likely to target Kashmiri Hindus. The Ministry of Home Affairs has issued an alert regarding this. In fact, after the terrorist attack on two Kashmiri Pandits in Shopian on Tuesday, security agencies have also been instructed to be alert.

At the same time, after the killing of Kashmiri Pandit by terrorists in Shopian, protests have started against the central government in Jammu. Srinagar-based Kashmiri Pandit Sangharsh Samiti (KPSS) chief Sanjay Kumar Tikku on Tuesday asked all Pandits to leave the Valley after the killing of a Kashmiri Pandit in Shopian. KPSS has said in its statement that no Kashmiri Pandit is safe in the Kashmir Valley. For Kashmiri Pandits, the only option left is to leave Kashmir or be killed by the hands of Islamic fundamentalists, who (militants) have the support of the locals.

Let us know that the two brothers who were attacked in Shopian on Tuesday. One of them was injured, while Sunil Kumar lost his life. The terrorist who carried out the attack has been identified as Adil Ahmad Wani, a resident of Kutpora village in Shopian. He is a member of a terrorist organization called Al Badr. Now his property is being attached. His family members have also been arrested. After the attack, Al Badr issued a statement saying that the two brothers had encouraged people for the Tiranga rally, due to which they were attacked.
