Mathura: Janmashtami will be celebrated on August 19 in Mathura, the birthplace of Lord Krishna. Krishna Janmashtami started in the temple town of Vrindavan a week ago. More than 2 lakh devotees have arrived. When the doors of Bihari Ji's temple opened at 7.30 am on Wednesday, the entire temple complex was filled with devotees.

Before Janmashtami, the streets of Vrindavan have been immersed in Kanhaiya love. The idols of the beautiful Laddu Gopal have been decorated in the shops near the Banke Bihari temple. According to astrologer Pandit Ajay Tailang, the auspicious date of Janmashtami is on August 19. This time Abhijit muhurat will be for 51 minutes on Shri Krishna Janmashtami. Its time is from 12:05 pm to 12.56 pm. After this, offer them butter, sugar candy and other things. Chant the mantras of Shri Krishna. Invoke Lord Madhusudan with flowers and rice in hand.
